Sunday Archive Privacy Policy

Sunday Archive ("the App", "we", "us") is a fashion discovery app that helps you browse and find clothing from independent Los Angeles brands. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

The short version

• You can use the App without creating an account or giving us your name or email.
• We generate a random ID on your device to remember your likes and preferences. It is not derived from your device's hardware and does not identify you personally.
• We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• Purchases happen on the brand's own website — we never see or handle your payment information.

Information we collect

Automatically, to make the App work

• Anonymous identifiers. When you first open the App, it generates a random ID (a UUID) stored only on your device. This ID lets us remember your likes, swipes, and settings across sessions without knowing who you are. It is not linked to your device's hardware, phone number, or any Apple identifier.
• Activity in the App. Products you swipe on, like, save, comment on, rate, or search for, and when you tap through to a brand's website. We use this to personalize your feed and understand which features are useful.

Only if you choose to provide it

• Email address — if you link an email to keep your likes and preferences when switching devices.
• Username and avatar color — if you post comments or ratings publicly.
• Style profile — style archetype and preferences you select.
• Body measurements — if you use the size-recommendation feature, you may enter details such as height, weight, chest/waist/hip measurements, shoe size, and the size you usually wear. These are used solely to recommend clothing sizes to you. We never share measurements with brands, advertisers, or anyone else, and you can delete them at any time in the App.

What we do NOT collect

• No name, phone number, or physical address.
• No payment or financial information (purchases occur on brand websites under their own terms and privacy policies).
• No precise location. No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
• No advertising identifiers, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use information

• Personalize your product feed and daily picks.
• Recommend sizes based on measurements you provide.
• Show your public comments and ratings under your chosen username.
• Understand aggregate usage (e.g., which features are used) to improve the App.
• Maintain security and prevent abuse.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that host our infrastructure (e.g., our database and server hosting), acting on our instructions. When you tap through to a brand's website, that site's own privacy policy applies from that point on. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account (anonymous or linked) is active. You can reset to a fresh anonymous account in the App at any time. To request deletion of all data associated with your account or email, contact us at the address below and we will delete it within 30 days.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update it here and note the new effective date.
